It has been implementing family food security through nutrition development program with the support of World Bank/DAE in Barisal, Barguna, Faridpur, Gopalgonj, Khulna, etc. from 1997 covering 22 Upazillas. The main activities are: awareness raising, training, nursery development homestead gardening, horticulture development, seed preservation etc. The program has enhanced the nutritional status of the areas, created employment & income earning opportunity and diversified and intensified agricultural production. The program covers app. 4400,000 people.
