VOSD has become the long-time partner of AVC/DAI-USAID for capacity building and management development. AVC/DAI-USAID has hired CBSG for imparting different capacity building training to the staffs of VOSD and developing management including policy papers development. Already CBSG has been imparted different training courses for the staffs of VOSD and developed different policy papers with the consultation of the staffs. The program is going on and hope will be completed by April, 2016 and then VOSD will be the implementing partner of AVC/DAI-USAID for directly implementing different projects supported by AVC/DAI-USAID. VOSD has been implementing the Mung bean cultivation and Strengthening Microfinance Business by supporting member farmers on modern ways of cultivation and marketing of safe vegetables (Eggplant, Pumpkin, Bitter Gourd and Cucumber) programs in Barisal and Jhalakathi Districts supported by AVC/DAI-USAID. Already Mung bean cultivation has been completed and the other project Strengthening Microfinance Business by supporting member farmers on modern ways of cultivation and marketing of safe vegetables (Eggplant, Pumpkin, Bitter Gourd and Cucumber) is going to be implemented.
