What is the mission of VOSD?
The mission of the Voluntary Organization for Social Development (VOSD) is to empower marginalized communities, particularly women, children, and disadvantaged groups, by improving their socio-economic conditions. Through community-led initiatives in education, health, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental conservation, VOSD aims to create self-sufficient and resilient communities across Bangladesh.
How long has VOSD been operating?
VOSD has been operating since 1987. Over the past three decades, the organization has implemented numerous programs to address poverty, health, education, disaster preparedness, and environmental sustainability in rural and urban areas of Bangladesh.
