VOSD has been working on the life environment improvement of the poor and vulnerable street children in Barisal Town with the support of UNDP/Department of Social Services and Children at Risk-Netherlands and for the development of working children in Uzirpur and Amtali Upazillas of Barishal and Barguna Districts with the support of SKN Netherlands. Total coverage is 3350 street children and 900 working children. The main activities are: awareness raising, counseling, non-formal education, primary health care, curative services, legal education and legal aid, sheltering, professional skills training, job placement and recreational activities etc.
